Hybrid bikes are essentially a cross between a road bike and a mountain bike.  They have

the same diameter wheel as a road bike, but with a wider multi purpose tire.  Handlebars,

frame style, and gearing are similar to that on a mountain bike.  These bikes have similar

features to comfort mountain bikes such as a comfortable seat with suspension seat post,

and an adjustable stem.  Hybrids are built to be comfortable and to be ridden on the road

or light trails.
